Linen fabric is made from a highly sustainable fiber—flax. Flax is one of the oldest and strongest natural bast fibers, extracted from flax or linseed plants. It is a stiff, crisp fiber with a natural luster.

Technically, this is medium-weight linen, with a weight of approximately 160 gsm. It has low elasticity and is prone to wrinkles. However, it is also anti-static, insect-resistant, and biodegradable.

Another remarkable feature of linen is its ability to quickly neutralize unpleasant odors, including sweat. Clothing made from linen does not retain bad smells, even in high ambient temperatures. It efficiently absorbs and releases moisture.

Linen is highly durable and maintains its quality for many years. With each wash and wear, it becomes softer and more visually appealing. It requires only basic care: machine wash at any temperature, though darker-colored linen should be washed at lower temperatures to prevent fading. Bleaching should be avoided. For extra softness, tumble drying on a low-temperature setting is recommended. If needed, linen can be ironed at high temperatures.

Your linen garment is already prewashed, so it should not shrink if you will take proper care of it.
